Customize your Hello Commerce home page

Once you’ve installed a template, you’ll want to customize it and make it your own.

To customize your home page:

1. From WP – Admin, go to Hello Commerce.
   
2. Click Customize Home Page.
   

Hello Commerce along with Elementor gives you great flexibility in customizing your page. In the following example, we’ll customize the Home Page for a toy store. To familairize yourself with Elementor you can check out Explore the Elementor Editor.

1. Click the large headline in the center of the page. This selects the Flex Hero widget with the widget options opening in the left panel. 
   
2. A Hero section is the most prominent part of your page and Flex Hero widget helps you construct a hero section. The widget contains two two basic layouts for the Hero section. We’ll stick with the default layout.
   
3. Open the Text field.
   
4. Fortunately, our store sells wooden toys, so we just have to change one word in the Title. 
   
   The Subheading will need a new sentence reflecting our business.
5. Enter Inquisitive minds want challenging toys.
   
6. We also want to change the wording on the button, so open the CTA Button field. 
   
7. Change the text of the button to It’s Playtime.
   
8. In the Link field, add a link to your store page.
   
   Finally, let’s change the font of the site to make it more friendly. 
9. Click the Style tab.
   
10. Open the Content field.
    
11. In the Heading section, click the pencil icon by Typography.
    
12. Change the font to Fredoka One. For details about typography, see Typography.
    
    
    Note

    The background photo is actually part of the container holding the widget. To find out more about working with containers, see Learn about flexbox containers.
