Add and delete attributes

Attributes are used by developers to target certain elements in order to customize them. Creators can add attributes to V4 elements using the General tab. Attributes and their uses are discussed in detail as part of Elementor’s developer documentation.

To add an attribute:

1. Select an element on the canvas.
2. Click the General tab.
   
3. At the bottom of the General tab, click the plus sign in the Attribute field.
   
4. Assign a name to the attribute. This can include a dynamic tag.
5. Assign a value to the attribute. This can include a dynamic tag.
   

To delete an attribute:

1. Select an element on the canvas.
2. Click the General tab.
   
3. At the bottom of the General tab, hover over the attribute you want to delete.
4. Click the X icon.
