As you build your online store, you’ll need to add products for sale. Hello Commerce offers you an easier way to add these products so you can concentrate on selling your products.

If you start with some website templates, your store will contain some default products.

Each product has a very large number of variables. In the example below, we’ll go through the basic information you’ll need to add a product.
To add products to your store:
- From WP Admin, navigate to Hello Commerce.
- In the Shop Settings section, click Add new product.
This will take you to the product page.
In this example, we’re going to add a Teddy Bear to our online toy store. - Under Add new product enter the product name.
- In the Product description field enter a full description of the product.
We will enter a short description of the product later.
You can include images in the product description but this is not the main photo used for the product – that will be added later. - (Optional) If your product is Virtual and/or Downloadable, use the checkmarks to indicate this.
- Scroll down to the Product data section and add a price.
- (Optional) Add a Sale price.
- Scroll down to the Product short description area and enter a one or two sentence product description.
- In the right panel, scroll up to the Product image section.
- Click Set product image and add an image.
- In the Publish section, click the Publish button.
The product is added to the store.
